Adolescence is a time of great change. It is estimated that 75% of all mental health conditions begin between the ages of 12-27 years old. How do we tell the difference between the expected developmental changes and the onset of a mental health challenge? Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour, evidence-based course that teaches adults working with youth how to recognize and support youth who may be developing a mental health condition or in a mental health crisis. It is recommended for anyone who comes in contact with young people. Contact us to schedule an on-site training for up to 30 individuals per session.
